  • By Car.

    The village of Strathyre is located on the A84.  We are seven miles north of Callander and just over an hours drive from Glasgow and Edinburgh.  From Glasgow take M80 north then A84. From Edinburgh take M9 north then A84.  On arrival in Strathyre, parking for Strathyre Pods is on the east side in public car park between The Munro Inn and Airlie House B&B.

  • On arrival in Strathyre, parking for Strathyre Pods is on the east side in public car park between The Munro Inn and Airlie House B&B. 

    From the parking lot there are sign posts and we are about thirty meters down back path.  The path is a natural path and can be muddy at times.  Lighting is by solar powered lights only.

  • Yes. All the bedding for both the small double bed and pull out bed are included. We also provide all the towels and bathroom amenities for your stay.

  • Unfortunately we do not allow pets at this time.


  • No open fires are allowed on site.


  • Yes. Each pod has wifi available.

  • Each pod has a smart TV with a DVD player. There is no live aerial however there is Netflix and Amazon Prime, and a small selection of DVD's.

  • Each pod is equipped with full bathroom facilities that include a shower, sink, and toilet. We also included soap and shampoo for your stay by the Highland Soap Company.

    There is a small kitchenette in each pod. This includes a small electric hob, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, kettle, crockery, bottle opener, chopping board and cooking utensils.

  • You can check in from 3pm on your day of arrival. All pods come with a small lock box so you can let yourself in. Details will be provided the day before your arrival. We love a good lie in so check out is by 11.00 am on day of departure.


  • As the pods and our home are located in a national park, we are committed to reducing our impact on the environment! We would appreciate your help with keeping the space free from rubbish. Please separate as much rubbish as you can and place in the bins provided.
